Blog Post #10

Hi, and welcome back to my blog!

Last week in EME 2040, we focused on creating powerpoints that specifically are designed for interaction. For this assignment, I made a review session for students, that presented them with questions, and buttons to click through the questions. This was not my favorite assignment, because it was very tedious, as adding all the buttons was pretty tiring by slide 30. But I did enjoy the creativity aspect of it, and in the future I may make something like this for a future class. Here's a screenshot of the assignment.

Recently, I have gotten a chance to read through some of my classmates blogs, and while some of them were very similar to mine, I've seen a few cool things. One of the first cool things I've seen is people posting their class rules list. My class rules list was not very creative, but some of my classmates did a great job of adding a creative style and flair to it. Another thing I've seen on the blogs are some really cool and supportive comments. It's really great to see the classroom community being built through these blogs.

The next type of technology that I want to add to my repertoire would be Excel. I've always been fairly decent with google sheets, but I want to get good at excel, because of how important it is for future careers. Being proficient in Excel could help me to be able to collect data more efficiently, with types of data such as grades or attendance. I plan on doing this through assignment 6, but also from using youtube and other online resources to learn more about the program.

Thanks for reading! I've really enjoyed keeping this blog, and hope you've enjoyed reading along!
